In the winter of 1962, this building was inaugurated, satisfying the
needs and architectural style of the time. Its complete renovation and
enlargement took place 40 years later. Reconstruction took one year. After
temporary accomodation, court employees started using their new rooms
as well as the court rooms – which are technically fully equipped – the
convenient offices, the file cabinets, the kitchenettes and last but not
least, the beautiful library.
The basic area of the building grew by one third. The single-floor court
room was extended with five more floors. In the cellar a 16-block rolling
file case was installed. On the ground floor two administrative offices,
on the first floor two criminal court rooms, on the second floor three
civil court rooms, and on the third floor a spacious judicial chamber
(library) were located. In the loft 11 workrooms for judges were built,
the tasteful furnishings for which were made by Garzon Furniture plc.
The main task of courts of justice, litigation, is done in 15 court rooms.
Customer service in acccordance with European standards is provided in
three different administrative offices (criminal, civil and extra-judicial
procedure). Personnel questions are dealt with in the president`s office.
